The Competition

We are excited to release the rules for the STORM 2026 competition, Power Flash!

Power Flash is designed to test your creativity by encouraging unique designs to solve the interconnected challenges.

• Collect and deposit batteries to restore the power grid

• Generate electricity and recharge the batteries

• Climb the utility line and escape the flood water

How do we register?

Registration will open in late September. To register, your team lead will create an account and invite your faculty advisor. After your faculty advisor accepts your teams invite, your team lead will register for STORM 2026 and fill in any additional information as required.

When registration opens, teams will receive a notification via email and Discord.

How do we submit our Design Reports?

In the past, Design Reports were submitted via email. This year and for future years, teams will submit their design reports on their teams dashboard. All team leads and faculty will receive confirmation emails when the design report is received. Additionally, teams will receive feedback via your dashboard and emails.
