What is STORM?
STORM (The Student Tele-Operated Robotics Mission) is an intercollegiate robotics competition for university students. Teams build tele-operated robots capable of navigation, investigation, and interaction.
Tele-Operation Challenge
Control your robot from a separate location using only a WiFi connection. Manage remote navigation, investigation, and interaction tasks.
Sensor Integration
Choose and integrate sensors creatively, then display collected data to your remote operator in innovative and effective ways.
Accessible Design
STORM is designed around affordable robots that can be built using off-the-shelf components. No extensive robotics background is required!
